Message I just got back in town from work and finally got sometime to work on the Z a little bit. It's been a long time since I've made a post, so I'm just dropping by to say hello and to show a few pics. Nothing amazing though...car's still in parts and waiting for stuff to come in :(

How to attach a MAP sensor

Wrinkle black plenum with bored out TB openings for my 58mm TBs I'm still waiting on getting back from the chromers.

All extra bolt holes not being used anymore I removed with grinders and time.

What the plenum will be sitting on top of =)

A new location for the fuel return line to be running. Since it's a return line it doesn't really matter if I add a little more distance for it to go, so I have it going down the passenger side to stay farther away from heat, and to allow me to install the after market Damper and FPR next to each other after the fuel rails as it says to do on Marren's site. I didn't take a picture, but the fuel line runs under the car like the driver's side fuel line does screwed into place and padded, but at the back, it goes through the car through rubber gromets and heat insulation to go to the other side where it drains into the tank in the stock location.

Just mocked these locations up. Still have to remove them one more time to fully align them how I want and wet sand behind them before installing again.

Remember flashes really drown out suede darkness. In person it's very black. For anyone thinking of going nova suede...DO IT!

Notice Z Horn Button. I'm proud of that! =)

Behind seats

Glove box panel I made. I actually bought a carbon panel from member Cap here, but it came in messed up from the mail so he gladly refunded me and I just decided to make my own. Covered it in suede to match my center console tray.

Holds my EDFC, Defi Controller, and AEM AF Gauge connected to my AEM EMS.

This is a sad sight :( The z and some of my other possesions have been relocated to a several units in a nearby storage place one of my friends owns. It's free, and me and my gf needed the space to...yes...turn the house garage into the official UNT Beer Pong Competition building. I'm not kidding. Many funny stories to come haha.

New fuel filter location. In my quest of clearing out the engine bay (fuse boxes, cruise control, emissions, battery, clutch booster, ect) I also decided to relocate this thing.

The filter and lines are higher than the car's rails so I know they are well protected.

Hopefully this weekend, I will have the time to finish making my aluminum panel that will go over the lines on both sides and the filter to protect them from rocks. The stock plastic thing works, so I know my aluminum one will protect even better :)

All fuel lines are about 1/8"-1/4" from touching the bottom of the car so I know they can't rub the car. To be safe though, I will be wrapping lots of the lines under the car in my padded heat wrap I bought. I already did in some parts, but still have a ways to go to be finished.

Random 3" Test Pipe shot. Thanks SZ!

One of about 50 things I've gotten powdercoated and chromed.

Oh and for those that are wondering.

The AN6 fittings I'm using for my fuel lines (as well as my AN10 lines for my oil system now) are all made by JEGS. Just from my own personal exprience I gotta say JEGS fittings are WAY WAY nicer and better coated and fitting that the earls fittings are for basically the same price.

I used the Elite ones for everything in the fuel system and oil system. I love the way these looks, and really recommend them to anyone else.

I then used the polished ones by JEGS for the two fittings on the fuel filter since the filter was also polished and it's under the car so they won't be by the black/red ones..

Last but not least, the pups that keep me and my gf company while I wrench on the Z. Mazi (Maseratti) and Tank.

Anyways, I really thank you for looking, and there really is a TON more done to the car. Hopefully sometime within my lifetime I'll get it done and be able to make a nice larger post here and also start making it to shows and gatherings when I'm in town.

Thanks again for looking. Have a good night!

Thanks,
Mike
